Program Details
Join a meaningful cultural exchange in Cusco where volunteers support children from vulnerable communities while immersing themselves in Andean culture and daily local life. This experience also allows you to naturally practice and improve your Spanish through everyday interaction.
Your main role is teaching English through dynamic and fun activities such as games, conversation, songs, and creative workshops. You will also support homework and help organize educational, artistic, sports, and recreational activities. We love when volunteers share personal talents like music, dance, art, photography, etc
No teaching experience is required — motivation, empathy, and positive energy are what matter most. We adapt the activities according to each volunteer’s personality, skills, and comfort level, so you will never feel alone or unprepared.
Activities take place in different environments:
• Community & partner projects (usually Mon–Thu, sometimes Fri) in the afternoons — 2:30 pm to 5:00/5:30 pm
• Local schools in the mornings — 9:00 am to 12:00 pm (may vary depending on the school)
We organize schedules carefully to balance community needs and volunteer experience, creating a relaxed, supportive, and enjoyable atmosphere.
We are looking for volunteers who are respectful, responsible, patient, open-minded, and willing to connect with children and the local culture. Teamwork, flexibility, and initiative are highly appreciated.
We provide a safe, friendly, and organized environment, initial orientation, materials, and continuous support. We also help volunteers understand transportation, daily life in Cusco, and cultural adaptation. You only need comfortable clothing and a good attitude.
We want to create a happy space and provide an human & cultural experience.
