The experience

We have a stunning home in Devonport, Auckland. Looking for a couple with handyman and decent cleaning experience to live here for 5 - 6 weeks, in exchange for feeding our cat, and doing a thorough spring clean of the whole place as well as touch up painting. We expect 20 hours a week work per person which you can manage in your own time with online communication with us. We will pay a weekly food allowance. You will have the house to yourself!

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Activities & Shift

Painting of outside veranda, stairs and railings
Repair gate latches
Deep clean of house - clean oven, dusting, moving large furniture to vacuum and mop underneath, wiping out drawers and cupboard etc

Rules

The house has an apartment underneath with a quiet tenant in it. Looking for a quiet couple who can make sure there is not too much noise upstairs
Needs to speak good English as the communication with us is all online.
Ideally you will have some references regarding your cleaning, painting and handyman skills.
Great if you have an affinity with cats!
