The experience

This position will focus mainly on the garden aspect of our homestead.

- Managing Compost
- Feeding the soil
- Preparing beds
- Maintaining plants
- Some building and construction with natural material

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Between 18 and 40 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

As you stay in our garden caravan, you'll be given the space to communicate with nature. Every day we will give you tasks that you can do and complete based upon your skills. You should be ready and capable to do hard physical work such as pushing wheel barrels, using shovels, hoes, and pitchforks.

Activities & Shift

You will work 5 hours a day, hours depending on the season. After that, you will have access to our electric bikes to explore our forest and rivers.
