Program Details

We are a family living in the Corsican mountains, building our ecological home step by step. We welcome Worldpackers who want to take part in a real-life eco project, learn by doing, and share daily life with us.

Most of the help is currently focused on the house construction: timber frame elements, roof preparation, straw bale infill and GREB natural building. Beginners are welcome — everything is explained and done together. Help can also include daily life support around the house and occasional help with our kids.

In return, we offer a simple, grounded lifestyle, shared meals, knowledge sharing, nature, flexibility and a warm family atmosphere.

Activities & Shift

Main activities may include:

>Eco construction (woodwork, straw bales, GREB, site organization)
>Helping with daily life around the house
>Occasional childcare or creative play
>Light gardening or outdoor tasks when needed

Schedule:
Around 5 hours per day, usually in the morning, leaving afternoons free.
We adapt to weather, energy levels and family rhythm. Some days are more physical, others lighter. Flexibility and communication are key.

Rules

>Respect for family life, children and shared spaces
>A calm, positive and respectful attitude is essential
>Safety rules on the construction site must be followed
>Smoking only outside
>Clear communication if you need rest, time off or personal space

We value kindness, autonomy, curiosity and people who enjoy a slow, nature-based lifestyle 🌿
