🐎 Help Build a Self-Sufficient Farm with Horses in Central PT
The experience
Just one month ago, we began a new chapter on our beautiful Quinta in the heart of central Portugal. The horses roam freely and play a key role in our Coaching work. We’re restoring old vineyards and olive groves, growing a vegetable garden and orchard, and moving steadily toward a more self-sufficient lifestyle.
From seeds to our plate, we aim to be self sufficient when it comes to healthy food and the wellbeing of our animals is top priority!

Activities & Shift
Life on the Farm – Get Your Hands Dirty & Your Heart Full
Every day is different, shaped by the seasons, the weather, and what the land needs most. You might find yourself:
🐎 Caring for horses, goats, dogs & cats
🚶 Walking the goats through the hills
🌿 Gardening, planting, pruning & harvesting
🫒 Reviving vineyards & olive trees (yes — hundreds of liters of olive oil!)
🍋 Turning kiwis, lemons, oranges & more into jams and treats
🔥 Collecting firewood & helping make the land fire-safe
🍳 Cooking and sharing meals together
🛠 Building projects: outdoor kitchen, chill spaces, animal shelters, guest accommodation
Rules
We want volunteers to find their sparkle, share their talents, and explore activities outside their comfort zone. Therefore, we are looking for mature, hands-on individuals who are not afraid to communicate, dare to take initiative, and—an absolute must—have respect for nature and every living creature!
