Activities & Shift
We generally work intensely during the day, I should mention (more than 25h/week), but the atmosphere is always pleasant and very welcoming.
People are motivated and some are coming back every year.
Rules
You'll need to help her with peeling and preparing things from time to time, and especially with setting and clearing the table and doing the dishes. As in any community living situation, everyone participates, and it's not just the women who are active; normally everyone volunteers, and we've never even made a chart to keep track of who does what. Meals are eaten together at lunchtime and in the evening, and there are evening activities like peeling vegetables or cracking nuts.
