What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the city.

Party Promoter: Help organise and promote parties and social activities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

At El Pinche Hostal, we’re looking for social and positive worldpackers who love connecting with people. As a Social Host, you’ll help organize parties and social activities, promote tours, create community vibes and support reception with basic guest assistance and check-ins.

The program includes a shared dorm bed, storage space, breakfast and discounts on tours and activities. We offer a relaxed, inclusive and Mexican-style hostel environment focused on cultural exchange, fun and teamwork.

Activities & Shift

The volunteering program is 20 hours per week, and shifts can be flexibly scheduled according to the volunteer’s availability and hostel needs. Most tasks are related to social activities, events and guest interaction.

If there is any extra event or special activity outside the agreed hours, it will be paid separately.

Rules
