Program Details
As the mother's help you will be assisting Maddie in day-to-day life. This means; doing laundry, cleaning, making food, helping with the kids here and there, ... We do not live on site, we live a little bit further then the glamping so you will mostly helping in our house but its easy to reach the glamping.
We try to make volunteering at Sails a fun experience. You wake up in your own glamping tent which you share with other volunteers. You can make yourself breakfast with everything on the staff table, sometimes we have specials (F.e. if we have pancake day), you can also make yourself lunch (leftovers, a sandwich or whatever is in the staff fridge), and for dinner we have a warm home cooked meal every night. If you are not on shift your welcome to enjoy the pool, our hammocks, go explore the island, use our second hand bikes or simply enjoy a beach day (Which is a 10-minute walk). In the summer we work together with family, staff and volunteers so you can be as sociable as you want and go do something together as well of course.
We provide a bed, storage, linnen and towels for you so you do not have to worry about that as well.
