In 2026, one of our major goals is to relaunch the entire brand with new and professional packaging and design, and therefore we need help in this area, from design to communication and marketing of the chocolate brand, but also of Quinta Carvalhosa and the work we develop here with agroecology and as an artistic residency.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Requirements

Fluent Portuguese or Fluent English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Program Details

As producers of cocoa and other organic products in Ilhabela, we have dedicated ourselves to pruning, managing, processing cocoa, extracting cocoa honey, and producing chocolate from tree to bar.

We have tried our best to invest in good content on social media, but sometimes the lack of time and the fact that it's not our professional area means we end up having some difficulty in conceiving and producing an identity for our brand.

Activities & Shift

Usually we work from 9am to 13pm and the rest of the day is free to explore the island.
We will design a working strategy based on the specific skills of the volunteer.

Any help is welcome in exchange for accommodation and spending some time immersed in the fascinating nature in the middle of the Atlantic Forest of Brazil's largest oceanic island, which, as the name suggests, is very beautiful.

The island is teeming with life, abundant nature, water sports, and hiking trails, as well as over three hundred waterfalls. Come and discover the Caiçara culture and the largest cocoa plantation on the North Coast of São Paulo.
