The experience

I am looking for help with housekeeping and cleaning, and some gardening near Lagos. It will be a maximum of 4 hours per day with two days off per week. You will be helping me with guest experiences and assisting to expand my vegetable garden. There may be some painting or other things depending on your skills and interests.

In exchange you will have a double bed in a large tent with outdoor area, hot shower and kitchen.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

What you get

2 days off per week

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

I have a small glamping area (two tents) and three airbnb rooms. I am looking for people to stay ideally through the summer to assist with cleaning and general guests needs. Happy to have people for shorter stays also, although a minimum of 2/3 weeks is preferable. I am in a small village about 5km outside Lagos with three restaurants/cafes and a small shop within a 20 minute walk.
We are surrounded by farms and nature, so it is very quiet apart from the animals, but just a 5 minute drive into town. It is easier with a vehicle here, but many people stay without one. There is a bus stop a 30 second walk away.
I live here with my two children so we are around but in and out, and I am looking for people happy to use their initiative and work alone (once we have established a routine of course.)

I have a small veggie garden, but would love to expand it more so am open to all help with that. I have 4 acres, so there are always things to do here. :-)

In exchange for your help I offer a large tent. It has a proper double bed and I provide all bedding and towels. You will have a private outdoor area with table and chairs, as well as a hot shower and access to compost toilets. You are welcome to do a load of laundry for free each week, and if I am able to give you a lift anywhere I am happy to take you to town when I go.

Activities & Shift

It will be a maximum of 4 hours per day with two days off. Usually hours will be in the morning, as people check out (from around 9am). For days that we have no check ins or outs, you may be able to assist with some painting or other things.
