My second year at the hosteland it won't be my last! It really feels like a second home and the volunteers like family. Jay, Noelig and all the other volunteers da fantastic job of putting on events for the guests and volunteers every day, so between that and the occasional group outings, parties and surrounding nature, there's never a dull day.

An unbelievable hostel with an incredible location at the shore of Loch Ness. It was everything I could have wished for and more. The service is amazing and all the activities organised by the hostel are both fun experiences and a great way to make long lasting friendships. Also a great way to experience different cultures and to do so in a magical location. Truly magnificent

One of the best experiences I've ever had! Thanks Jay for your support and kindness in every step since I arrived. The shifts are very simple and if you have any concerns or questions you can ask them. I recommend this place if you want to volunteer and have fun at the same time. Finally, I met people I won't forget and I hope to see all them soon 🫶

Cannot recommend volunteering at the hostel enough! This was my first time volunteering and I had such an amazing experience. The whole management team is super supportive and happy to help you out. I'm already trying to plan when I can come back and volunteer again! The work is relaxed and organised well so you get a good mix of jobs throughout the week. I've made some lifelong friends and only wish I could've spent more time here!

I couldn't have ask for more, the work was light and the people amazing. Both of the manager Jay and Noelig genuinely care for the volunteers. I made some life-long friendships and left this place with so many good memories. This is a place I will always come back to, if you are looking for an unforgettable experience I would recommend the hostel in a heartbeat.

The hostel was my first volunteering experience, I cant imagine a better place to be! I loved it so much I ended up staying three more! Almost as soon as I got here I felt so welcome and at home. The friends and community you'll make here will last you a lifetime! Every day is a new incredible adventure full of laughter, long chats, a few tears and all the things you'd want from an experience like this! I remember arriving and immediately feeling like no measure of time spent here would be enough! I've truly fell in love with this place, the whole team and all my fellow volunteers!

I couldn't ask for a better first volunteer experience at the hostel! Jake is an amazing supervisor and really makes the hostel feel like home and the team feel like family. The work is very straightforward and only a couple of hours a day, leaving plenty of time to relax, explore, and socialize with the other volunteers and guests. I ended up extending my stay by a week and would've extended for longer had I not had a time restraint on my travels through the UK. I highly recommend this experience to anyone, be it hiker or backpacker or other, to relax, embrace nature, and enjoy Scotland:)

This was my first volunteering experience and I couldn't have ask for more, the work was light and the people amazing, both of the supervisors Jake and Rob genuinely care for the volunteers. I ended up staying two extra week and I would've stayed more if the hostel didn't close for the season. This hostel will make your expectations about volunteering really high, I would recommend it to anyone.
