Program Details
Here a volunteer can work for three to four hours a day depending on which cultural experience is in progress. Some cultural experiences can be done with children at school and in the community such as the language exchange.
Other cultural experiences can be done with women or men in the community. We have a few cultural experiences that may need to purchase items in the market, especially those involving cooking.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers will work for three hours a day but we are flexible and can adjust any time when the need arises.
Rules
Because our program involves minors, we follow clear rules to ensure safety and respect:
Children are not allowed in volunteers’ rooms
Volunteers are expected to respect our 12 simple community guidelines
Patience, kindness, and cultural sensitivity are essential.
