🏡Private Room & Bathroom in Central Barcelona | Light Chores & Babysitting 👶

The experience

Hello we have a private bedroom and bathroom available in our apartment in the center of Barcelona.

In exchange, we are requesting help with chores and babysitting. We both work full-time and travel for work. Our daughter (1 year) goes to school daily from 8am to 6pm, so we just need an extra set of hands to drop her off and pick her up until bedtime (8/9PM).

On the weekends, help would be limited and on a need by basis.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Fluent Spanish

Over 18 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Our daughter (1 year) goes to school daily 8am to 6pm so we just need the extra set of hands dropping her off and picking her up until bed time (8/9PM). Help on weekends would on a need by basis (extra hours in the evening for babysitting, or 1-2 hours in the day so we can go to the gym).

We frequently travel for work so having an extra set of hands while one of us is traveling is exactly what we are looking for. We have no family here in Barcelona so we are missing that extra help with our full time jobs. We also need some help with chores around the house.
