What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers contribute $10 per day to cover their private air-conditioned eco tiny house accommodation with shared outdoor bathroom. This fee also helps fund materials and supplies for our educational programs teaching local children English, math, and other subjects, plus supports the maintenance and development of our sustainable community project in Jambiani, Zanzibar.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

We’re a sustainable eco-project in Jambiani, Zanzibar seeking digital marketing volunteers to help us expand online. You’ll manage our presence on booking platforms like Airbnb and Booking.com, create social media content, and promote our educational programs that teach local children English, math, and other subjects. This is perfect for digital nomads who want to use their skills for community impact while living steps from the beach in paradise.

Activities & Shift

∙ Set up and optimize listings on major booking platforms (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.)
∙ Manage social media accounts and create engaging content
∙ Design promotional materials for our educational volunteering programs
∙ Respond to inquiries and booking requests
∙ Develop digital marketing strategies to increase visibility
∙ Flexible schedule, approximately 4-5 hours daily
∙ Work remotely from your private eco tiny house or common areas

Rules

∙ Respectful behavior toward staff, local community, and property
∙ Maintain quiet hours after 10 PM
∙ Keep your tiny house and shared facilities clean
∙ Internet and electricity usage should be reasonable
∙ Professional and timely communication with potential guests/bookings
∙ Share weekly progress updates on tasks completed
∙ Minimum stay: 1 week (preferred for continuity)
