Program Details

The volunteer opportunity takes place on an 80-hectare diverse regenerative farm located in Salo, Finland. Beyond documenting our work and creating visual storytelling for social media and web, you have the opportunity to truly experience farm life and reconnect with nature.

We want volunteers to feel like valued members of our team. We make a real effort to get to know you, show you around the farm, and learn from each other. We encourage you to share your personal or professional goals with us so we can support you in your journey. For those who impress us, we are happy to provide a professional reference.

Previous experience is never required.

Activities & Shift

We start every week with a communication planning meeting to coordinate messages / posts with relevant farm activities. Your main activities will involve shooting key moments (like building projects, animal moves), capturing daily b-roll, and editing footage into finished posts (approx. 3 posts per week per platform). Beyond attending the weekly meeting and meeting your agreed content deliverables, you are free to set your own schedule!

Rules

Farm life is unpredictable with varied schedules. You aren't expected to keep our hours, but you will need to take initiative when our schedules do not align, for example, preparing your own breakfast or lunch and working independently while we attend to other tasks. Being a self-starter is key. We have a dog, so you're welcome to take her for walks in the forest! As you will be staying in our private home and using professional equipment, we ask that you treat our space and gear with care and keep shared areas tidy.
