Healthcare & Clinic Development Volunteer – Gloria Medical Clinics
Join our fully licensed community clinics in Nsango & Nankoma! Support daily operations, dental setup, patient care, clinic rebranding, and community health education. Work 4–5 hrs/day, 5 days/week. Accommodation is free; $50/day covers meals and volunteer support. Make a real impact while gaining hands-on healthcare experience!


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Additional fee required

Description: Contribution: Volunteers contribute $50 per day, which covers meals and support for their stay. Accommodation is provided free of charge. This contribution helps us provide a comfortable and organized experience for all volunteers while they make an impact in our community clinics.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

Gloria Medical Clinics operate two fully licensed community clinics in Nsango and Nankoma, providing essential healthcare to children, families, and vulnerable populations. Our mission is to improve community health while creating a welcoming environment for patients and volunteers alike.

As a volunteer, you’ll gain hands-on experience in a real healthcare setting. Tasks include supporting daily clinic operations, assisting in dental unit setup, helping with clinic rebranding and organization, and participating in community health education.

Volunteers work 4–5 hours/day, 5 days/week, with free accommodation. A $50/day contribution covers meals and support during your stay. Assignments are adapted to your skills and experience, making this a flexible and meaningful opportunity.

Activities & Shift

Activities

Volunteers will:

•Support daily clinic operations and patient reception.

•Assist in dental unit setup and organization.

•Participate in clinic repainting, rebranding, and organization.

•Help with community health education and outreach.

•Support general clinic cleanliness and create a welcoming environment.

Tasks are adapted to each volunteer’s skills and experience. Volunteers may also choose to contribute optionally toward equipment and supplies for the clinics.


Shifts / Working Hours

•4–5 hours per day, 5 days per week.

•Flexible schedule depending on clinic needs.

•Volunteers may support activities at Nsango and/or Nankoma clinics depending on the day and assignment.

•Some days focus on painting and organization, others on patient care and health education.

•Respect clinic policies: Follow all instructions from clinic staff and management.

•Patient confidentiality: Always respect patient privacy; do not share personal information.

•Safety first: Use materials, tools, and equipment safely. Report any accidents immediately.

•Punctuality & commitment: Attend your scheduled shifts and complete tasks responsibly.

•Respect community & culture: Be polite, patient, and open-minded with patients, staff, and the local community.

•Cleanliness: Keep volunteer areas, clinic spaces, and equipment tidy.

•Optional contributions: Contributions toward clinic equipment are voluntary, not mandatory.

•No unauthorized medical procedures: Only qualified professionals may perform clinical tasks; non-medical volunteers assist with support and organization.
