Brew Beer & Enjoy Lake Life in Sunny Summerland 🍺🏞️

The experience

We are a Canadian-Australian couple living in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in Summerland BC, right by the lake!

As we have found ourselves with a spare room, we decided to give back to the community that has given us so much over the years and host travelers when we can!

Help will mainly be in the brewery, helping to brew beer, cleaning equipment and potential to also help in the food truck preparing meals if interested. Also some gardening.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate French

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Main jobs would include helping Jonah out at the brewery with small tasks such as helping to brew beer, cleaning, canning and labelling. We also have a vegetable garden at our house and need help prepping it for summer time as well as a few other tasks around the place that need to be competed. Let us know what your skills are!

Activities & Shift

Work will mostly be during the week with free time on the weekends but we are flexible if you want to go off and explore.
