The experience
Join a mountain farm surrounded by forests, rocks and open landscapes, where horses live freely in nature. Volunteers help with physical outdoor tasks such as cleaning and preparing steep pastures, removing brambles, repairing fences, cutting trees and assisting with excavation work. In exchange, enjoy shared meals, a private room, good internet and meaningful cultural exchange in a stunning natural environment.
What you offer
25 hours of help per week
Animal Care:
Help look after and take care of animals.
Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
2 days off per week
Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Program Details
The farm is nestled in a breathtaking mountain setting, surrounded by forests, rocks, springs and wide open landscapes. Nature is everywhere, offering a deep sense of calm and connection. The area is rich in history, with Celtic vestiges, Gallo-Roman sites and medieval castles nearby. Thanks to affordable bus connections, volunteers can easily visit charming villages and vibrant cities like Strasbourg, Saverne and Molsheim, blending nature, culture and exploration.

Rules
- This position requires comfort with outdoor work.
- Tasks take place on steep, rocky mountain terrain.
- Volunteers live in the host’s house and have a private room.
- Shared meals are taken together with the hosts.
- Respect for the house, nature, horses and tools is essential.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions is expected.
- Good attitude, openness to cultural exchange and teamwork are important.
- Public bus connections are available to nearby towns and villages.
