Kitesurf volunteer opportunity in Yucatan, Mexico

The experience

We are looking for a kite instructor or a couple who would like to help us run our kitesurf shop and school.

You will get:

• A fully equipped private loft at walking distance from the beach
• A bicycle for personal use
• The opportunity to work as a kite instructor

You will help with:

• Social Media
• Kitesurf shop tasks
• Equipment maintenance
• Repair workshop support

What you offer

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Spanish

Between 25 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

- 25 hours of work per week. If it’s a couple, 12.5 each.
- Access to preferential kitesurf equipment rental rates.
- Use of a bicycle for personal purposes.
- Opportunity for paid work as a kitesurf, wing, or foil instructor.

Activities & Shift

Shifts are from 8:00 am to 1:00pm. Shifts can vary depending on the wind conditions and working loads,.

Activities include:

-Shop tasks: gear shipping, receiving gear, arrange display, client reception, etc.
-Social media: whatsapp marketing messaging, taking photos, content creation, etc.
-School equipment maintenance: bar tunes, gear check up, gear cleaning and storage, etc.
-Repair workshop assistance: help with gear fixes.
