Program Details
Join us on our farm for a hands-on experience in property maintenance and land management! We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers who enjoy working with tools and aren't afraid to get their hands dirty. You'll gain practical experience operating farm equipment like weed wackers, chainsaws, and other power tools while helping maintain our property. Expect plenty of time outdoors, opportunities to develop valuable skills, and a chance to connect with nature and like-minded people. Whether you're handy with tools or eager to learn, we'd love to welcome you to our farm.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers will work five days a week for approximately five hours per day, with two days off during the week. We kindly ask that working days include weekends, but we're flexible with timing to ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience. Activities will include operating weed wackers and chainsaws, general property maintenance, clearing brush and trails, basic carpentry and repairs, and assisting with various farm projects. It's a great opportunity to develop practical skills and learn proper tool handling while contributing to the upkeep of our farm!
Rules
We just ask that everyone keeps the space clean and brings a positive, open, and ready-to-help attitude. Safety is our priority when working with power tools, so following instructions and using proper protective equipment is essential. This is a shared experience, and the more we all contribute, the more rewarding it becomes! 💪🔧
