The experience

We are looking for a creative, free-spirited mural artist to help us transform the our homestay'a walls into meaningful works of art. If you love painting, storytelling through colors, and leaving a personal mark on the places you visit, this experience is for you.

What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Intermediate English

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

What you’ll do:

+ Design and paint murals on selected walls around the homestay (indoor and/or outdoor).

+ Add artistic touches that bring warmth, character, and positive vibes to the space.

+ Work freely with your own style while respecting the spirit of our place and nature of Cat Ba.

+ Collaborate with us on ideas, themes, and suitable spots for artwork.

+ Help turn blank walls into memorable photo corners for our guests.

Who we’re looking for:

+ Someone with real experience in mural painting, illustration, or wall art

+ Creative, independent, and comfortable working with minimal supervision

+ Respectful of shared spaces and able to keep the area clean while working

+ Open-minded, friendly, and happy to share ideas and stories

+ Able to stay at least two weeks to complete meaningful pieces
