The experience

No teaching experience required! Come and teach our friendly Vietnamese staff the English language in one of our air-conditioned classrooms. Classes are one hour in duration and are separated into various departments: cashiers, accountants, housekeeping, maintenance, security, kitchen, food and beverage servers, front office, landscaping, bellmen, etc. Subjects include topics that will help our Vietnamese do their jobs better.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Program Details

You will teach between one and twelve students in each class, 3 to 5 one-hour classes per day, Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday; enjoy the beach resort or visit Mui Ne (small fishing town nearby), or travel the 20 kilometers to Phan Thiet - a bustling city full of excitement! Teaching materials and lessons will be provided. Projectors, white-boards and other teaching equipment is available.

Activities & Shift

You'll be on-duty 5 hours per day, 5 days a week. Volunteering days and hours vary. The rest of the time, enjoy the two swimming pools, fine-dining in our restaurants, the live music in our lounge, and our white sand beach! Try kite-surfing! Swim in the warm tropical ocean! Play in the waves! Stay in an air conditioned room with hot shower and free wifi, (probably a private room) - but be prepared to share your room if things get busy. Housekeeping once a week! Three full meals per day are provided: fabulous breakfast buffet in restaurant, lunch in staff canteen, and fine-dining dinner in restaurant. Did we mention that this is a 4-star luxury beach resort? It is!

Rules

Since this is a 4-star luxury beach resort, you will need to bring long black pants/trousers and proper shoes (no sandals while on-duty) - we will provide you with a beach resort uniform/shirt and name tag.
