ICT & Digital Skills Volunteer


The experience

As an ICT & Digital Skills Volunteer, you will assist learners and community members in gaining basic computer and digital literacy skills. You will support practical sessions on using computers, safe internet practices, and simple digital tools, helping participants gain confidence and knowledge for education and daily life.


What you offer

24 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Program Details

As an ICT & Digital Skills Volunteer, you will work closely with children, youth, and community members to develop basic computer literacy. You can expect to lead or assist in hands-on sessions covering computer basics, word processing, spreadsheets, safe internet use, and digital communication.

In return, you will receive guidance from Rays of Hope staff, opportunities to interact with the local community, and a safe, welcoming environment. This program provides meaningful engagement, skill-building, and insight into how technology can empower communities.

Be punctual and consistent; notify staff if unable to attend.
