Volunteering at the hostel is incredible, the infrastructure of the place is very good, the hours are flexible, you can negotiate according to your needs, there is a great respect for the volunteer. The activities to be done are very smooth and all the staff are always willing to help you in any need. I highly recommend volunteering at the hostel, for me the experience was incredible, I went to learn Spanish and gained a second family that welcomed me and treated me very well from start to finish. Thank you to all the persons who made this volunteering something unforgettable.

Volunteering at the hostel was very good. The facilities of the hostel are great, it's always full of guests and there's many activities every week. For personal reasons, I had to leave early, but I would have stayed the full month happily. The thing I think could be better is a more organized, flexible, and diverse schedule, because sometimes it can be tiring to do the same shift everyday.

This volunteering was a wonderful experience, I felt home from the beginning, met hundreds of people, locals and internationals, improved my salsa skills, discovered the gorgeous city of Cartagena, chilled on the rooftop swimming pool and had big fun every single day! Thank you, the hostel!

It was such a great experience. I worked with very welcoming and friendly people. I mostly do kitchen tasks such as assisting with breakfast and I'm gonna miss working with the lady that taught me everything, It could seem simple but you will learn a lot. It was also a lot of fun to meet people from different parts of the world and local. Cartagena is such a vibrant city and there is so much to do. You will never get bored.

Teaching yoga was an amazing experience in this hostel ! Cool people, very nice team and the place is lovely I felt welcomed and there is always cool things to do here :) The organization could be a bit improved sometimes but it didn't bother me much It's a good place to meet travelers, practice english and a bit of Spanish as well Thanks :)

Volunteering at the hostel was definitely fun! The shifts behind the bar were most of the time really chill and on 'event nights' quite busy (but still fun). It was the perfect job for meeting and connecting with other backpackers and volunteers. The hostel itself is perfectly located in the beautiful 'Centro historico' of Cartagena and has everything you need: pod beds, 2 swimming pools, regular events and a lot of social life. Would definitely recommend volunteering here!

Los chicos del staff fueron un amor, yura , Juan, yonathan, Andy, Jesús y las chicas de la limpieza siempre fueron muy amables, me hicieron sentir cómoda, la líder de actividades tiene un carácter difícil, en ocasiones no sabía comunicar las cosas y era un poco grosera, lo que generaba un ambiente pesado, las instalaciones son hermosas, el lugar es muy centrado, el desayuno delicioso y me permitió conectar con personas increíbles , gracias Juan.

Me encantó mi voluntariado en República, me sentí como en casa. Conocí a personas maravillosas y volvería mil veces. Las actividades fueron muy lindas y me divertí mucho durante esta experiencia. Muchas gracias a Dayana y Juan por su colaboración y apoyo.

En el el hostel hice mi primer voluntario por 5 semanas y ha sido increíble. El hostal es super bonito y tiene de todo para que uno como voluntario se sienta cómodo. Si eres una persona sociable el trabajo es fácil y divertido. La pase super bien con todos, los de recepción, Yonathan, José, Yula, juan Luis del bar, que son unas personas divinas y atentas a los voluntarios. Jhoan tiene una personalidad muy linda y es super sociable, lo que hace que nunca te puedes aburrir estando allá. Gracias a todos los quiero mucho y nos volveremos a ver algún día, el hostel en mi corazón siempre !!

Pasé 1 mes y medio en el hostel y la verdad es que no me arrepiento de haber hecho aquí mi voluntariado!🫶🏻 Jhoan y el staff son muy amables y procurarán siempre que estés lo mejor posible y sin hablar de lo amables y buena gente qué son! Me la pasé increíble con jhoan y con las muchísimas personas bonitas que conocí en el hostel🥹 un pedacito de mí seguirá siempre aquí✨ Gracias a juan luís, jesús,yura,josé y federico pero sobretodo a jhoan que tiene una energía increíble y que deseo que todos lo puedan conocer ya que es una persona maravillosa a quién voy a extrañar muchisimo 💓🫶🏻
