DIY, painting and garden help required

The experience

I have approx 4 acres that needs taming! I am currently looking for people that can help with DIY projects (mostly outside, building decking areas, an outdoor toilet, etc), gardening ( including tree cutting, strimming and raking along with digging and planting) and painting if we have the weather for it. I am also in the process of rebuilding some fallen dry stone walls so experience of that is very welcome!

What you offer

22 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Program Details

I ask for 4-4.5 hours work per day, usually in the mornings but I am flexible. I am also happy if you prefer to work a full day and take the following day off for example. You will have two days off each week of your choosing.
In exchange I offer a bed in a two person room inside my own villa. You will have a private entrance, and free private parking if you use a vehicle. The room is en-suite and private. You will have access to a large balcony with fabulous views. On the balcony is an equipped undercover kitchenette area with hot plate, large fridge freezer, kettle and toaster.

Activities & Shift

Daily activities include a general walk around and tidy up - sweeping the driveway, weeding the front garden, and checking the fencing. Other activities depend on the capabilities of the volunteers, but I am currently looking for people able to help build decking, and simple outdoor structures. There is also always painting and cleaning to do, and things are very weather dependent at the moment!

Rules

No smoking is allowed on the property and I would prefer to welcome complete non-smokers. Quiet hours are observed after 9pm. I live here with my two children and animals so volunteers need to be considerate of this fact.
