The experience

With us, you’ll find a warm family of three with over 8 years of hosting experience, focused on making your stay unique and unforgettable. Our home is perfectly located near Havana’s main attractions. Volunteers help 3 hours a day at home and in an urban agriculture project focused on medicinal plants, herbs, and vegetables. Afternoons are free to explore, dance salsa, learn Spanish, or enjoy the beach. 🍃💃🌊

What you offer

15 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Additional fee required

Amount: € 15 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers

Description: Los voluntarios aportarán 15 euro o 15 usd diarios para los los gastos de los desayunos ,cenas y matetiales que se utilizan durante el tiempo de voluntariado.

What you get

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Beginner Spanish or Fluent English

Program Details

Nos encontramos a 7 cuadras del malecón, 3 cuadras del barrio chino y 5 cuadras del bulevar de San Rafael y 9 cuadras del Capitolio , parque central y casa de la música entre otras atracciones turísticas.

En nuestra casa contamos con 3 habitaciones con baños compartidos, ofertamos el desayuno a las 8.30 de la mañana hasta las 9, de ahí nos incorporamos a las 3 horas del voluntariado tanto en casa como en un proyecto de agricultura urbana en el cual tenemos como prioridad las plantas medicinales, aromáticas y verduras, en el cual se realizan semilleros y trasplante de posturas, limpieza del área o pintura. Terminadas las 3 horas , tienen la tarde para conocer, dar clases de salsa o español, ir a la playa, entre otras cosas. En la noche la cena en dependencia del horario que decidan cenar.

Turnos de solo 3 horas al día en la mañana o en la tarde opcional

Rules

Cuidado de las llaves 🔑 de la casa.
No musica altas después de las 10.de la noche.
No ser alérgico a los gatos
