The experience

We are an animal-friendly hostel in Nepal looking for a creative traveler to help with social media and photography. Your role is to capture hostel life, rescued dogs, guests, and daily moments through photos and short videos.
No professional experience needed — just creativity, basic social media knowledge, and love for animals. A phone is enough.
In exchange, you’ll get accommodation, meals, a peaceful environment, and a meaningful experience


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.


What you get

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely


Requirements

Fluent English or Fluent English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

This programme is for travelers who enjoy social media, photography, and storytelling while living in an animal-friendly hostel in Nepal.
Volunteers help capture daily hostel life, rescued dogs, guests, and surroundings through photos and short videos, and assist with posting content on social media.
The programme focuses on creativity, cultural exchange, and supporting a small, purpose-driven hostel and dog-rescue initiative.


Activities & Shift

Take photos and short videos of hostel life, guests, dogs, and surroundings
Create Instagram Reels / Stories / basic posts
Help with content ideas and storytelling
Basic photo/video editing (phone apps are fine)
Organize media files and share with the host
Shifts
4–5 hours per day
5 days per week
Flexible schedule (morning or evening preferred for better light)
Days off to explore the area


Rules


Be kind and respectful to animals, guests, and staff
No alcohol or drugs during working hours
Respect guests’ privacy when taking photos or videos
Share content only for agreed hostel social media platforms
Be responsible, punctual, and communicative
Keep common areas clean and peaceful
