I loved my time at the hostel! The staff is absolutely lovely and it was so hard for me to say goodbye. Everyone is super open hearted and welcomes you immediately. I worked in the night bar and from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.. You have to be aware that you will most likely party a lot, drink alcohol (if you want) and stay up really late. The volunteers live in a different house with kitchen and living room. Everything is simple but still nice. I met amazing people in my time there and created memories I will always remember! Thank you Georgie and the staff for everything <3!!

Overall had a good time volunteering at the hostel everyone was friendly and helpful I mainly worked in the garden bar which was a great place to work. I am vegan and they were accomodating of this just make sure to be clear to kitchen staff when you order your dinner. Make sure to check your room has AC as it's hot in Flores!

My four weeks at the hostel were far more than I expected in the best way possible. Teaching yoga in the mornings and working reception in the evenings was the perfect schedule for me. The volunteer house is separate from the hostel which allows the volunteers to really bond and get to know each other well. Meals are delicious and be sure to do all the tours you can with the discounts. Heads up: Learn/practice as much Spanish as you can before you arrive and bring LOTS of mosquito repellent as there's many in Flores. Muchas gracias! <3

It was an all round amazing experience. The staff here are so kind and friendly, I really recommend learning peoples names and integrating yourself, trust me its well worth it. Between work days and days off it's a lot of fun and you get to have a great experience at almost no cost!

I was sleeping in a room with AC which was much needed! So that was a big plus. The work is nice and they really trust you in your work. Other then that you get a lot as a volunteer; own house, breakfast, dinner, free use of kayak, drinks and discount. Even free accommodation in partner hostels across Guatemala!

I had a great time at the hostel! Nineth and Jorge were great hosts! The breakfasts provided were great. At first, the work was a bit repetitive and tiring but as soon as I spoke with management and asked for a variety, they were very accommodating and gave me a mixture of shifts which was really great! So don't be afraid to talk to the managers, they are lovely and will help you! The staff and volunteers were so friendly and I have made some life long friends at the hostel. Thank you for having us, we had a great time!

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel thanks to Nineth and the team. Within the first few days we went on a staff party and team bonding event which was so much fun. The hostel provided 2 really good meals a day and were very flexible with my eating arrangements as Ramadan started and they were so accommodating with providing me food at the times required. I also got an opportunity to introduce some new recipes from Asia to the team which have now been added to the menu. I would highly recommend the hostel and have made a great new family in Flores.

I had the BEST time at the hostel! It's true when they say the people make the place. I will cherish the memories I made there with the other volunteers forever! Besides the basic set backs like poor communication on the managers part and your lovely spider every now and again in your room I highly recommend this place!! Thank you so much to all the staff that made the place feel like home you will be missed and I can't wait to come back!🥰🥰
