Homestay English Teacher for Children in zhoukou, China

The experience

Hello Worldpackers!!
My wife, my six-year-old son, my parents and I live together in a villa in a small city in Henan Province, China. The villa boasts an excellent living environment, equipped with a private garage, a KTV room, fitness equipment, and a small vegetable garden. Our family can provide volunteers with a private bedroom, three meals a day, electric bicycles and other daily conveniences. All of these are free of charge.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

What you get

4 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Fluent English

Between 20 and 30 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We hope volunteers can teach English, and play with my wife and son. There are no other tasks besides these. To put it simply, this is a homestay-style tour.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers are entitled to two full days of completely free time per week to travel locally. My wife and I also love traveling—we can take road trips together by car. This way, volunteers can cut down on their expenses significantly. Of course, volunteers are also welcome to travel alone if they prefer.

Rules

Fluent in English.
Eligible candidates: One female volunteer, two female volunteers, or females who can bring their children are welcome. Male volunteers are not accepted.
As I often travel on business and am away from home frequently, I hope volunteers have received a good education, are kind-hearted and in good health. There are no other special requirements.
