The experience

A typical day will start out with a walk with the dogs and my son, breakfast, about and hour of household chores (dishes, sweeping, tidying up), and then whatever project is underway at the time. Life in the countryside is slow and follows the rhythm of nature, so in the summer we will get up earlier to beat the heat, and in the winter wake ups are a bit later. This position is neither demanding nor does it require any particular skill.

What you offer

4 hours of help per day

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

What you get

3 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Work will usually take place in the morning so that we have the afternoon and evening free for whatever we like

Be conscious of your consumption, whether that be water, electricity, or packaged items that create a lot of trash.

Return items to their designated place.
