The experience

We are currently starting our next project which is building our new volunteer room. We have hosted for over 10 years and took a step back due to helping another project. We would like to host again so are starting construction in February with aim to complete with your help end of February and into March. We need help to look after our dogs during 3 days in February as we have some commitments.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Italian

Over 21 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

Helping with our two spaniels, preparing the garden for spring. Sharing meal preparation. We dine together normally. We are located in lovely town with great walks around us. First part of year will be helping prepare a new volunteer room. We aim to do this in an environmentally friendly way using natural products to ensure we minimise the use of plastics and synthetic materials. Our Home is Historic and interesting as it was once a Whisky distillery.

Activities & Shift

We have breakfast, walk the dogs, then do a little work. life is good. We would plan time off and program on a weekly basis to ensure the you get what you need from our project
