Help us reinvigorate our garden and grounds for Spring

The experience

The tasks involve helping out in the grounds, clearing Autumn leaf drop, weeding, pruning, bonfires, and other general duties. Some work inside on bad weather days. There will be a certain amount of help with preparing our historic Welsh guesthouse for incoming guests. We expect our volunteers to be enthusiastic and ready to work, there will always be time for relaxation and exploring the local landscape.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Between 18 and 30 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

We expect courteous and communicative volunteers with a friendly disposition. We expect hard work to then be rewarded with the days off.

Activities & Shift

Activities involve working out in the garden, greenhouse and taking care of the grounds.

Rules

Tools cleaned and put away at the end of the working day.
