Social Work:
Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Requirements
Fluent English or Intermediate Chinese
Between 18 and 45 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
Our program invites volunteers to combine meditation, mindfulness, and spiritual healing with meaningful community service. Volunteers will experience the peaceful environment of our center while participating in social projects that benefit local communities. The program fosters personal growth, cultural exchange, and hands-on learning about holistic living and social responsibility. Volunteers will gain practical skills, deepen their meditation practice, and contribute positively to the community.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers join for a fixed period, participating in daily activities and social projects.
Each volunteer is assigned tasks based on their skills and the center’s needs, which can include meditation facilitation, teaching, gardening, or assisting with community programs.
Volunteers are welcomed to attend all meditation classes, spiritual sessions, and workshops to enhance their personal growth.
Guidance and support are provided by experienced coordinators to ensure volunteers are effective and comfortable.
Activities & Shifts
Daily Activities:
Leading or joining meditation and mindfulness sessions.
Assisting with community projects, including teaching, social work, or cultural activities.
Gardening, cooking, cleaning, and maintaining the center.
Helping prepare materials or spaces for workshops, events, or guest accommodation.
Engaging with visitors or local communities to share knowledge and support.
Participating in reflective practices or group discussions to enhance learning.
Shifts:
Volunteers typically work 3–6 hours per day, 5 days a week.
Flexible scheduling may include weekends depending on ongoing projects or events.
Volunteers have 2 days off per week for rest, exploration, or personal practice.
Rules
Volunteers must act with respect, responsibility, and mindfulness in all tasks.
Activities must align with the mission of meditation and community service; any political, violent, or offensive behavior is prohibited.
Volunteers must maintain confidentiality regarding internal communications or sensitive information.
Attendance, punctuality, and active participation in assigned tasks are required.
Volunteers should communicate promptly about absences, issues, or challenges.
Constructive feedback is encouraged; volunteers must remain open to guidance and collaboration.
Misuse of the center’s resources, social media accounts, or violation of program values may result in termination.
