What you offer
20 hours of help per week
Video Making:
Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Maintain and update social media channels.

Intermediate English or Intermediate Chinese
Between 18 and 35 years old
Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details
This program invites travelers and peace advocates to join our Worldpackers initiative as Social Media Volunteers. Volunteers will help promote our mission of global peace and cultural understanding by managing social media content, engaging online communities, and sharing inspiring stories from our projects. In return, volunteers may receive cultural exchange opportunities, local guidance, and a chance to experience Nepal while contributing meaningfully.
Activities & Shift
Research, curate, and create content (articles, photos, videos) for social media platforms such as Instagram, WeChat, Facebook, and RedBook.
Schedule and publish posts, ensuring consistent engagement with followers.
Respond to messages, comments, and inquiries from online communities.
Track analytics and report insights to improve engagement and reach.
Attend virtual or in-person team meetings to coordinate campaigns.
Collaborate with other volunteers on special projects, challenges, or events.
Rules
Maintain professional and respectful communication at all times.
Content must align with the mission of promoting peace and cultural understanding. Political or offensive content is strictly prohibited.
Confidentiality is required for internal communications and sensitive information.
Volunteers must notify the coordinator of absences, delays, or challenges promptly.
Feedback is encouraged; volunteers should be open to guidance and constructive criticism.
Misuse of social media accounts or violations of the program’s values may result in removal from the program.
Volunteers are responsible for their own travel, visa, and living arrangements unless otherwise specified.
