Family Farm Stay with Permaculture, Animals & Creative Life🌿🇳🇱
The experience
We are a Dutch-Brazilian family living on a former dairy farm in the Dutch countryside. We host travelers in holiday houses and caravans, care for animals, and grow food in our permaculture garden. Program Details
Volunteers support our daily farm life by helping with cleaning, maintenance, gardening and animal care. Tasks are varied and mostly independent, around 5–6 hours per day. In exchange, we offer accommodation, shared meals, bikes and free time to enjoy nature, the nearby lake and surrounding towns. We value autonomy, respect and a meaningful exchange of skills and experiences.
Activities & Shift
Volunteers help with daily tasks such as cleaning common areas 🚿, laundry 🧺, garden and orchard work 🌱, basic maintenance 🔧 and animal care 🐄🐑🐔. We are a family farm with two young children 👶👧, so respect for family life is essential. Activities usually run from 9:00 to 17:00 with a lunch break 🍽️, totaling around 5–6 hours per day. Communication happens in Spanish 🇪🇸, English 🇬🇧, Dutch 🇳🇱 and Portuguese 🇧🇷. Afternoons and evenings are free 🚲🌊🌞.
