Help Finish an Eco-Glamping (Plumbing or Electricity) near Rome
The experience
At Luce sul Lago, a non-profit association, we’re looking for a hands-on volunteer with skills in plumbing or electricity to help finalize our eco-glamping project in nature. You’ll support practical installations and small fixes that will allow us to welcome future travelers and volunteers, in a calm and meaningful setting 🌿
What you offer

Building & Repairing:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Private Room:
You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Program Details
Volunteers join us at Luce sul Lago for a collaborative and respectful exchange. You’ll help around 4–5 hours per day, mostly in the morning, leaving afternoons free. Work is practical and adapted to your skills. In exchange, we offer accommodation, shared meals, and time to enjoy nature. We value open communication, mutual respect, and a calm, community-oriented rhythm.
Activities & Shift
Assisting with basic plumbing tasks (water connections, small repairs, fittings, checks)
Assisting with basic electrical tasks (lighting, sockets, switches, safety checks)
Helping finalize installations in glamping units and shared spaces
Identifying small technical issues and proposing simple solutions
Working a few hours per day alongside us, with time to enjoy nature and the lake
Keeping tools and work areas safe and organized
Rules
We aim to create a peaceful and respectful environment for everyone. Volunteers are expected to communicate openly, respect shared spaces, follow basic safety guidelines, and be mindful of nature and neighbors. Reliability and a positive attitude matter more than perfection. We value kindness, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit.
