The experience

Hej! Welcome to Møgeltønder, a charming and historic village in southern Denmark, just 7 km from the German border. here i run a café and lifestyle shop and could use a some help arranging, restauring and painting things in the shop

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate German

Over 18 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Alongside managing the café, we also have to arrange the shop keep it clean, re-arrange the furnitures, sometime renovate them or paint them , make nice decorations, etc.etc., always a lot to do so if you could imagine yourself helping whit this, it could be the perfect experience for you!
In return, you’ll get to live in a beautiful and peaceful village, meet friendly locals, and experience authentic Danish culture. Plus, there will be plenty of time to explore the countryside, visit nearby attractions, and enjoy some hygge moments.

Activities & Shift

✨ What You’ll Do:
🔹 Assist with practical tasks around the shop and house and help me making it looking good
🔹 Serve guests with a smile, advise them the best you can :-)
🔹 Help out in the café during busy hours if needed
