The experience

Hi, my name is Oma. My family has farmed this land for 5 generations. You can help plant, water, and harvest watermelon, peanuts, millet, wheat, onion garlic etc. We have animals that you can take care of, like camels, cows and dogs.

Guest cottages are available. You will help our guests by providing camel rides, and tour of Osian village, a beautiful ancient city near the farm. Also works include cooking, art work, farming. You will be trained.

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Intermediate Hindi

Between 18 and 60 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

This is a cultural immersion project, involving, hands-on skill enhancement, creative outlets & guest management. You will receive a full work overview once you confirm your volunteering period with us. Further details & hands-on training shall also be provided upon check-in.

Rules

We are trying to make it a no-trash zone. So dispose all wastes responsibly & at designated bins only. Ours is a silent zone - no loud music, loud mobile reels & videos are allowed. Music at evening bonfire is subject to permission. This is a strictly ‘veg-only’ place. No non-veg food is allowed or served at the property. Alcohol is subject to prior permission, and is permitted for responsible drinkers only. Any violation of the above rules will be subjected to a minimum fine of ₹2,000.
