Program Details

Volunteers assist teachers in introducing basic English or other languages, simple numbers, songs, movement, drawing, storytelling, and educational games designed for young children (ages 4–6). No teaching certificate is required. What matters most is patience, kindness, creativity, and a love for working with children.

Daily activities are light and flexible, allowing volunteers to connect closely with the children while respecting their natural learning rhythm. Outside school hours, volunteers experience coastal village life, shared meals, cultural exchange, and the calm atmosphere of Sekotong’s beaches and nearby islands.

This project is ideal for volunteers who enjoy early childhood education, slow living, and making a gentle but meaningful impact during a child’s first learning journey.
