Program Details
This volunteer program takes place at Sanggar Belajar Jalan Pulang in Sekotong, West Lombok, a community-based learning space in a coastal village setting. Volunteers support children in learning languages such as English, French, German, Arabic, or any language they are fluent in, using fun and interactive approaches like games, storytelling, songs, and conversation practice. No formal teaching certificate is required—only patience, creativity, and a genuine willingness to support children’s learning.
Volunteers stay in a local home, share home-cooked meals, and become part of everyday coastal village life. Outside of teaching hours, volunteers can enjoy the surrounding beaches, small islands, sunsets, and traditional fishing culture, with guidance and activities organized together with local hosts.
