The experience

We have recently started hosting free English classes for the local kids at a nearby temple. The kids age ranges are between 4-15 years old, there are 2x lessons per day, 5x a week. We are looking for an energetic, passionate and experienced English teacher to teach these classes.

Each lesson runs for 1 hour and happen Mon-Fri. The younger kids have their class in the mornings, the older kids have their lessons in the afternoon (around 4:30 PM)

What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Child Care: Caring for, playing with, and spending time with children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Program Details

We are looking for someone who can develop lesson plans for the kids, right for their ability. For the younger kids you are encouraged to use art, dance and sports in their lessons to promote confidence and comfortability. For the older kids we will focus more on writing and conversational skills. The goal for these lessons is for their conversational english and writing skills to improve.

Activities & Shift

The morning classes are for the younger kids, it runs for 1 hour between 8:00-10:00AM (you can choose the time). There will be a teacher from the school to assist you with the younger kids classes

The older kids classes run in the afternoon, after they have finished school, around 4:30PM.

You will also help in hosting certain activities in our hostel for our guests!
