The experience

We are a grassroots, faith-led children’s rescue centre based in Nairobi, Kenya, supporting vulnerable children through education, care, mentorship, and community outreach.
We are looking for a volunteer with digital marketing, fundraising, or communication skills to help us strengthen our online presence and mobilize support for our mission.

What you offer

6 hours of help per week

Content Writer: Write, edit and publish inspiring content.

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Video Making: Create, edit and publish digital videos.

Social Media: Maintain and update social media channels.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 10 Per day

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers, Materials for volunteer activities, and Donation to project

Program Details

This program supports the daily work and long-term sustainability of our grassroots, faith-led non-profit based in Nairobi, Kenya. We serve vulnerable children and the surrounding community through education support, mentorship, basic care, and outreach programs.
Through digital marketing and fundraising, this program helps us share our mission, raise awareness, and mobilize resources to better support the children in our care. Volunteers contribute their skills to strengthen our online presence, tell authentic stories, and support fundraising efforts that enable our programs to grow.
The program is designed to be collaborative, flexible, and impact-driven. Volunteers work closely with our local team, learn about community-based non-profit work in Kenya, and gain meaningful experience while contributing to real change.
We value cultural exchange, creativity, integrity, and compassion. Volunteers are encouraged to bring ideas, learn from the community, and use their skills to help build sustainable support systems for vulnerable children.

Activities & Shift

Activities.
Volunteers in this program will support our digital marketing and fundraising efforts through activities such as:
Creating and scheduling social media content (posts, reels, short videos)
Writing captions, stories, and basic blog or campaign text
Supporting online fundraising campaigns and donor outreach
Assisting with basic graphic design or presentations
Managing or updating digital files and content calendars
Brainstorming ideas to increase visibility and engagement
Documenting activities and impact (photos, videos, stories)
Activities may vary depending on current needs and the volunteer’s skills.

Shifts
4–5 hours per day
5 days per week
Flexible schedule (morning or afternoon)
Remote or on-site participation possible
Weekends optional and agreed in advance
We value flexibility and open communication. Schedules can be adjusted based on availability and ongoing projects.
