The experience

We are a couple living in Salvador who discovered volunteering while traveling in Europe. After this positive experience, we decided to host our first volunteer. The help consists of practicing English with us through conversations and dedicated moments to speak English during the week. It is a cultural exchange, not formal teaching. The volunteer will sleep on a sofa bed in the living room. We value respect and good coexistence.

What you offer

18 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

3 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Program Details

Live in Salvador while sharing your culture! We seek a fluent English speaker for daily conversation practice and to help us improve the language. We’d love to learn a typical dish from your country too! In exchange, stay for free on a comfortable sofa bed in our living room.
