We are looking for knowledgeable and patient volunteers to help with teaching and training our hostel staff 🏨✨. This role is ideal for volunteers who enjoy sharing knowledge, mentoring others, and improving team skills 🤝📖.

Volunteers will support staff development through basic lessons, practical training, and guidance, helping improve communication, service quality, and daily operations.

What you offer

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Beginner English or Beginner Hindi

Between 18 and 45 years old

Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details

This program is designed to support the training and development of hostel staff through practical teaching and skill-building sessions 🏨📚. Volunteers will work closely with the team to improve communication, customer service, and daily work performance.

The focus is on hands-on learning, real-life situations, and interactive activities that help staff feel more confident when working with guests 😊. Teaching may include basic English, hospitality standards, teamwork, and professional behavior.

This is a short-term program with a minimum stay of one week ⏳, following a structured schedule ⏱️ and clear objectives. Volunteers should be patient, organized, and respectful, as the goal is to create a positive learning environment for everyone 🤝.

In exchange for their contribution, volunteers receive accommodation 🛏️, scheduled days off 📅, and the opportunity to gain experience in training and hospitality development.

Activities & Shift

Volunteers will support staff development through the following activities:

Teaching basic English and communication skills 🗣️📘

Training staff in customer service and hospitality standards 🌟

Conducting interactive lessons, discussions, and role-play 🎭

Helping staff improve confidence and professionalism 💼

Creating simple lesson plans and training materials 📝

Assisting with teamwork and work-efficiency training 🤝

Providing feedback and encouragement to staff 😊

All activities will be coordinated with management, and guidance will be provided to ensure clear expectations and a positive learning environment.

Rules

Volunteers must follow the agreed teaching schedule ⏰.

Be punctual, prepared, and organized for all sessions 📘.

Show patience, respect, and professionalism 🤍 when working with staff.

Teaching should be constructive, positive, and respectful at all times.

Follow hostel policies and management instructions 🏨.

No drugs or illegal substances on the property 🚫.

Alcohol is not allowed during teaching hours 🍺❌.

Respect cultural differences and workplace hierarchy 🌍.

Maintain confidentiality regarding internal staff matters 🔒.

Complete the minimum stay of 1 week ⏳, unless otherwise agreed.

Failure to follow rules may result in early termination of the exchange ⚠️.
