The experience

This region of Portugal is truly beautiful, shaped by the Serra da Estrela — the highest mountain range in mainland Portugal — as well as many rivers and valleys. Even the surroundings of the campsite itself are perfect for peaceful walks and outdoor exploration. Having lived here for many years, I’m happy to share plenty of tips on hikes, day trips, and special places worth discovering.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Program Details

The work focuses on the regular maintenance of a long-established campsite that has been operating for over 15 years. Tasks may include gardening, pool maintenance, general cleaning of the camping area, and some painting, helping prepare the space for the upcoming season. No construction or heavy renovation is required.
