INFANT/LOWER SCHOOL FACILITATOR


The experience

Infant and Lower School Facilitators support the foundational learning and holistic development of learners in the early years. Volunteers work alongside class teachers to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young learners develop early literacy, numeracy, social skills, independence, and curiosity. Volunteers will
support teachers during lessons, play-based activities whiles assisting learners with classwork & routines.


What you offer

28 hours of help per week

Photography: Take, edit and provide amazing photos.

Teaching Sports: Teaching or assisting the host, guests, or local communities in practicing sports or physical activities.

Teaching Languages: Teaching a language to the host, guests, or local communities.

Music: Perform to entertain guests, children or local communities.

Additional fee required

Amount: US$ 100 One time

Fee pays for: Benefits for travelers and Donation to project

Description: Volunteers pay the one time fee to cater for feeding and other essentials


What you get

1 day off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.


Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 25 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

Be from outside Ghana

European Union Passport

United States visa or citizenship

Travel insurance
