PAID POSITION - EXPERIENCED CHEF / KICHEN COOK End of April -Aug
The experience
Paid Position for an experienced chef / cook for our food truck in Achill Island. Get the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, managing food preparation, cooking, and working along side an experienced fun team! This is a paid position depending on experience . This position is cooking using Gas fryers cooking Battered fish, Calamari , monkfish, prawns and other sea food dishes. Also shellfish such as crab and lobster.

Fluent English or Fluent English
Between 25 and 50 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
SERVICE CHEF - The required person will be an experienced Chef / Sous Chef / Cook who is able to work gas fryers and able to cook fresh fish and chips . Time management and ability to work with a team in a food truck. The Shifts commence at 12pm to 8.30pm .Ensuring the full set up and Organisation of emptying refrigerated van with the stock needed for the day, setting up your stations, ensuring you have all your cooking essentials in the food truck before service . Food will already be prepped that morning ahead of service.
The main duties are working along with front of house staff with orders, Cooking Fresh fish and chips in a busy service in a state of the art seafood food truck. Processing dockets and commanding the pass , cooking in formation with dockets as they come in with fast time management all with keeping in with high hygiene standards whilst getting a great rate of pay.
Activities & Shift
