Program Details
Join our mission to inspire the next generation of global citizens! We are developing an ambitious series of multilingual children’s books designed to teach young readers about diverse world cultures, the importance of empathy, and environmental consciousness. This series is a cornerstone of our educational project, aiming to foster curiosity and kindness across borders.
We are looking for creative Illustrators and Graphic Designers to help bring these stories to the finish line. We have a unique workflow that blends traditional storytelling with modern technology:
This is an ideal role for a creative professional or student looking to:
Gain credit for a published, multilingual book series with a strong social and environmental message.
Gain experience combining character art with AI-generated assets and complex layouts.
Your work will directly contribute to a child’s understanding of the world and their role in protecting it.
P.S. If you're an illustrator, you don't need to be a graphic designer, or vice versa. Being both an illustrator and a graphic designer is a plus, but not a requirement.
Activities & Shift
Illustration: We have already established our core characters. Your task will be to illustrate these characters in various poses and actions as dictated by the script, ensuring they feel alive and consistent throughout the story.
AI Collaboration: We utilize Artificial Intelligence to generate our scenic backgrounds. You will be responsible for integrating our characters into these AI-generated environments seamlessly.
Graphic Design & Layout: You will assist with the professional book layout, typography for multiple languages, and digital retouching to ensure every page is vibrant and polished. Volunteers with KDP knowledge is a plus.
Volunteers provide support for a maximum of 16 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Volunteers choose their own schedule.
