The experience
We are seeking a motivated Permaculture Volunteer to support sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation initiatives within our community. This role focuses on designing and maintaining eco-friendly food systems that improve soil health, increase food security, and promote harmony between people and nature.
What you offer

Description:
Volunteers contribute $20 per day to cover accommodation, food, and electricity. This contribution helps ensure a comfortable and well-supported stay throughout the program
What you get

You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm:
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Laundry:
You can use our laundry room freely.
Bikes at your disposal:
You can use our bikes any time you want.

We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Permaculture Course:

Requirements
Intermediate English or Fluent English
Between 18 and 65 years old
Welcomes solo volunteers, couples, and partners of volunteers

Program Details
The volunteer will work closely with local farmers, youth, and community members to implement permaculture principles, including organic farming, composting, water conservation, agroforestry, and seed saving. The position also involves practical fieldwork, training, and awareness activities that empower communities with long-term, self-sustaining solutions.
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about sustainability, climate resilience, community development, and environmental protection. Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in tropical permaculture systems, cultural exchange, and grassroots development while making a meaningful impact on local livelihoods.
Activities & Shift
Designing and maintaining permaculture gardens
Soil improvement through composting, mulching, and organic fertilizers
Tree planting and agroforestry activities
Establishing vegetable beds, nurseries, and seed banks
Water conservation techniques (rainwater harvesting, swales, drip irrigation)
