Help us glow up our retreat center 😃

The experience

During the winter, as it is low season, we are working on repairing and improving certain areas and places of our retreat center (Skeppsudden). For that reason, we would like some extra hands to help us with this task. Knowledge in carpentry, electrics, and tiling is highly valued for this position.

We are a retreat center that aims to provide fair and harmonious living to all in Skeppsudden, and that includes volunteers.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fast Internet Access: High-speed internet for you to work remotely

Dedicated Workspace: Specific space for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Over 21 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

*Atmosphere: We aim to be social among the team, having some group activities and hangouts sprinkled throughout :)

*Types of events we host: We host tantra retreats, burns, festivals, BDSM retreats, and other spiritual retreats.

*Types of events that the volunteers can attend depend on which events have booked at Skeppsudden, and not all volunteers can attend the same event. As a group, we decide how we will split up.

*We are a sex, emotional, rest, and believes positive space.

Rules

First, we start with a video call to get a sense of each other and talk through the details of volunteering here.

Once accepted, we have a one-week trial period so we can both make sure it’s the right fit for everyone 🤝
